THE INDONESIAN CULTURE IS VERY FAMILIAR IN THE NETHERLANDS BECAUSE OF ALL THE TRADE WE DID WITH THEM AND THEY WERE A COLONY OF THE NETHERLANDS! MOST OF MY RELATIVES ARE FROM INDONESIA AND WHEN I'M BACK IN HOLLAND THAT'S MOSTLY WHAT WE COOK. SEVERAL OF THESE DISHES TAKE DAYS OF PREPARATION. INDONESIAN RESTAURANTS ARE RARE TO BE FOUND IN THE USA, SO WE THOUGHT THIS IS A RARE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO TRY ANOTHER ETHNIC FOOD. ORDER SEVERAL DISHES AND IT'S A GREAT WAY TO SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS.
